Nadine Lustre shared her reaction to Vilma Santos approving of her and Kathryn Bernardo to do a remake of T-Bird at Ako.

"I'm so happy she approves and appreciates my work but I think it's a matter of comfort level, 'cause I don't think I'm ready for something like that. That's very daring, di ba?" she remarked an interview with ABS-CBN News.

Fans online have been suggesting for Kathryn and Nadine to team up for a remake of the movie.

The actress went on saying that despite it being a challenging project, she is open to exploring it.  

"It's very intimate. I'm not sure if I'm ready for something like that but it's a challenge, and you know naman I'm up for challenges. It's something that we can work on, tignan natin," she added.

Nadine previously worked with Vilma in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya and she also wants to work with the Star For All Seasons again.

"Actually, looking forward to working with her or just to see her again. Why not, I'm game! Super game ako. You know me, I'm always excited to work with new people," she said.

Vilma starred in T-Bird at Ako in 1982 alongside Nora Aunor.

As per the film's IMDB, the movie follows the story of "a sexy dancer who has been accused of homicide is defended by a female lawyer who tries to keep their relationship professional as the latter struggles with the confusion of thoughts and emotions brought about by her budding affections for the dancer."

In a past interview with ABS-CBN News, Vilma expressed her approval of a remake with Nadine and Kathryn as the lead stars.

"Uy, heaven 'yan! Heaven 'yang team na 'yan! Parehong magaling 'yan!" Vilma stated.  

The Star for All Seasons also remarked that she is open to work with Nora again.

"I have a script also na ipinadala na kaming dalawa ni Ate Guy. But, I dont want to sound mayabang pero hindi mo pa mapili, hindi naman marami pero may mga scripts ako dito," she relayed.
