Full cast of ‘Miss Saigon’ in Manila revealed

<p>“This show is Asian excellence and this cast is giving Slay-Asian pride,” said Filipino-Australian actor Seann Miley Moore, who is playing the challenging role of the Engineer in the Manila run of Boublil and Schönberg’s Miss Saigon.</p><p>Set in 1970s Vietnam, Miss Saigon follows the story of a young Vietnamese woman named Kim who falls in love with an American soldier named Chris during the Vietnam War.</p><p>This production is particularly close to the hearts of Filipinos since the homegrown talent and award-winning actress Lea Salonga played the lead role of Kim in the original West End production of Miss Saigon in 1989, then again on Broadway in 1991.</p><p>The full cast of the international tour has been revealed, with Filipino-Australian actress Abigail Adriano leading the way as Kim. This 19-year old also played the same role in the Australian run of the production and has received great reviews.</p><p>Another Filipina with a main role to play is Kiara Dario, who will be playing the role of Gigi.
