Regine Velasquez shared the mindset that she wants to have this new year.

On her X page, the Kapamilya singer reflected on the past year saying: "January 1 ang bilis no? This year try ko lang maging present (mentally) sa lahat ng gagawin ko 😂 I don’t know time’s so fast I feel like I’m missing out on a lot of important things in my life 😩 parang lagi akong tulog ba."

She added: "But I have to say daming blessings last year thank you Lord 🙏🏻."

This year, Regine promised herself that she will stop worrying about the things that are beyond her control. 

"So again I shall try my very best to be more aware or awake this year so I can enjoy life more. Maybe I should stop worrying about things that I cannot control😣 So I can best enjoy God’s blessings more. Happy New Year to all God bless po 😊❤️❤️❤️," she wrote.

Followers of the singer were quick to react to her post.

In 2024, Regine is set to headline a repeat of her rock concert.

Titled Regine Rocks, the singer will be staging the concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on April 19.

“Whenever we do a repeat we will have to change 50 percent of the repertoire. Basically, ganoon pa rin, but you will hear different songs this time also. At least 50 percent will be changed,” she shared on what fans can expect in her upcoming concert in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

Asia's Songbird remarked that she didn't expect for her rock concert to have a repeat show.

"We didn’t think ganoon maging reception so we decided to have a repeat. It is also my birthday month. It is still exciting cause it is really different from what I do. I also don’t perform ng malikot because I am a balladeer," she said.

The singer went on: "Because I am sitting down or standing up. Hindi ako malikot sa stage. But since it's a rock concert, the energy and the music, it followed."
