In a vlog she uploaded on her YouTube channel, Kristel relayed that she penned the song when she visited the US last July 2023.

"Kaya ko gusto gumawa ng song na 'to kasi gusto ko maging kanta or maging isang bagay ang isang feeling," she told Ysabelle during their songwriting session.

She started arranging the song when she returned to the Philippines in September 2023. She then had her final recording in Korea in November 2023.
