TikTok star Kween Yasmin has dismissed the idea of entering politics.

On her TikTok page, the content creator responded to a question by a fan asking if she would run in the upcoming elections. She replied that she has no plans of seeking a political seat.

"Your honor, hindi po [ako tatakbo]," she pointed out. "Kasi kailangan kapag tatakbo ka, kailangan alam mo 'yung possibilities, alam 'yung alituntunin, alam mo 'yung gusto mong ipatakbo, gawin sa ating Sandiganbayan or anong mission 'yung gagawin mo, anong vision."

Yasmin also highlighted that being a public official entails massive responsibility, as it affects the lives of many people."

"Hindi 'yung sinabihan ka lang, tatakbo ka na. Kailangang desido ka talaga kasi buhay ang nakasalalay diyan, pangalan mo nakasalalay diyan, maraming tao — maraming mga mamamayang Pilipino ang nangangailangan, kaya hindi po ako tatakbo your honor" she remarked.

The content creator then quipped: "Running man, pwede pa."

Yasmin's video has already gained 1.6 million views as of this writing. The TikTok star recently responded to the fan's question after the recent filing of Certificates of Candidacy, which saw numerous celebrities and content creators seeking government seats in the upcoming 2025 elections.

Fans online were quick to express their admiration for Yasmin's mindset.

"At dahil dito, mas napahanga ako sa'yo kween!" another fan wrote.

"Tama po kween. I salute you po," she said.

Yasmin has more than 382K followers on TikTok.

"Sobrang natutuwa po ako sa sa mga followers ko po na napapagaan ko po yung mga buhay nila. I didn’t expect it na all over the Philippines po [ang mga fans ko po]. Kung wala po sila, wala po ako sa kinatatayuan ko sa ngayon," she said in a recent interview with SPOT.ph on her huge following on social media.

Yasmin is known for being dynamic and vibrant in front of the camera. "Sa likod ng kamera, iniisip ng mga tao, natural lang ba siya kumilos, ganyan ba talaga siya? Tapos malalaman nila na natural lang talaga siya, ganun lang talaga siya magsalita," she highlighted.
