Aside from acting, John Arcilla has been active in extending a hand to those who are in need through the foundation he established.

"Right now, meron na akong sariling foundation, CAPABLE Foundation. It is an acronym for Care and Protect Life On Earth Foundation," he shared in an interview with Bernadette Sembrano in her latest YouTube vlog.

The actor relayed that they have various programs in the foundation.

John established the foundation in 2008.

When asked what encouraged him to build the foundation, he replied: "Napagod na akong mag-protesta.

Meanwhile, when it comes to acting, John hopes to inspire and move audiences with his performances.

“Kasi hindi ka naman basta-basta nagpe-perform. Ako, I’m speaking for myself. May purpose ako in life. Gusto ko naman may ma-move akong tao,” John said in a previous interview with ABS-CBN News' Tao Po.

John starred in several successful acting projects throughout his career. In 2015, he made his mark with the role of General Antonio Luna in the hit film Heneral Luna, which became the highest-grossing Filipino historical movie ever.

Six years later, he made history as the first Filipino to win the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the 2021 Venice Film Festival for his standout performance in On The Job 2.
