Sabrina Carpenter lands the cover of TIME100 Next

Sabrina Carpenter landed on the cover of TIME100 Next, representing the world's most influential rising stars who are part of the list.

"Sabrina Carpenter may be only 25, b/ut she is coming into her own with the earned confidence of a veteran, and she knows how to give the people what they want," the magazine wrote.

Sabrina's TIME 100Next cover was unveiled by the magazine on Wednesday, October 2.

"Thank you @time for having me on your cover! Thank you @xtina for your generous words. I will forever be in awe of you!! ♥️and thank you @lucyfeld for splitting the chocolate mousse with me and being so easy to talk to," the singer posted on her Instagram page.

As per the magazine, TIME100 Next aims to "recognize rising leaders in health, climate, business, sports, and more—and by doing so, not just show the stories that are capturing headlines in 2024, but also introduce you to the people who we believe will play an important role in leading the future."

In her feature, the magazine praised Sabrina's personality, especially her self-deprecating sense of humor.

"If you want to call me a Polly Pocket, a Bratz doll, I don't care. You'll meet me and then you'll be like, damn, she talks a lot more than the dolls do," the singer quipped in her interview. 

It has been a gigantic year for Sabrina who recently released her album Short n' Sweet which debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100.

According to Billboard based on Luminate, Short n' Sweet gained 362,000 album units in the U.S. during the week ending on August 29.

Out of the total units sold in the first week, 184,000 are from album sales, 176,000 are streaming equivalent album units, and 2,000 are track equivalent album units.

"Can’t express my gratitude. My first #1 album!!!!" she wrote on social media. "Thank you for listening to Short N’ Sweet. Thank you for believing in me all these years! Couldn’t do any of this without you 💋:’) this feels really special. Love you all," the singer posted following the massive milestone her album achieved.

Sabrina recently made history on the Billboard Hot 100 as the first woman to have three songs— "Taste," "Espresso," and "Please Please Please"— in the top 10 for five consecutive weeks.
