Former PBB housemate, transman Jesi Corcuera, is now pregnant

<div><span style="background-color:transparent"><span id="isPasted" style="caret-color:rgb(65, 65, 65);color:rgb(65, 65, 65)">Jesi Corcuera’s life has gone through a lot of changes, and not in the way most people would think. </span></span></div><div><span style="background-color:transparent"><span style="caret-color:rgb(65, 65, 65);color:rgb(65, 65, 65)">He first came </span>into the limelight through the 2006 local talent search program</span><em style="background-color:transparent"> StarStruck</em><span style="background-color:transparent"> where he joined as a woman and was paired with batchmate Paulo Avelino as his onscreen partner throughout the season. A<span id="isPasted" style="caret-color:rgb(65, 65, 65);color:rgb(65, 65, 65)">fter transitioning as a transman in 2013, he </span>then became reintroduced as the “Transman of the House ng Cavite” when he joined the ABS-CBN reality competition <em>Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7</em> in 2016. Currently in a loving and long-term relationship with his partner Camille, Jesi revealed that he is now pregnant.</span></div><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2021/10/28/fresh-scoops/former-pbb-housemate-jesi-corcuera-proudly-shows-h-196567" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>READ: Former PBB housemate Jesi Corcuera proudly shows his surgery scars as a transman</u></strong></a></div><p><span id="isPasted" style="caret-color:rgb(65, 65, 65);color:rgb(65, 65, 65)">In his most recent social media post last October 5</span>, the 33-year-old former housemate shared that it has been more than five years since he had been planning to have a child through IVF.</p><p>“Sa lahat ng gagawan ko ng caption, ito na yata yung pinakanahirapan ako.  Alam ko mahihirapan din kayong intindihin kung paano ito nangyari,” he wrote. “2018 nung simulan kong planuhing magkaroon ng anak. Pero that time, maraming struggles, lalo na financially and hindi rin naman biro ang gastos sa unang plano kong mag-IVF.”</p><p>After helping take care of his partner’s children from a previous relationship, it rekindled his yearning to have a child of his own.</p><p>“Hanggang sa bumalik sa buhay ko si Cams pati ang mga bata. Naisip kong parang sign na yata ito ni Lord sakin. Baka ito yung warm-up Niya para sakin kung paano ako magiging magulang soon. Sa pagtayo ko bilang tatay ng mga anak ni Cams, maraming naging realizations. Sa lahat ng desisyon ko sa buhay, malaki ang naging parte ng mga bata at ni Cams sa kung ano ako ngayon,” he added. “Samahan niyo kami sa bagong journey ng buhay kong ito. In 2021, he underwent another surgery and shared photos of the scars from his chest along with caption, “Hindi maitagong ngiti. Mga ngiti na walang katumbas na halaga. Maaring hindi niyo maintindihan ang sayang aking nararamdaman. Pero sa likod ng mga hiwa sa ilalim ng aking dibdib yan ang simbolo ng aking kalayaan. Kalayaan sa mapanghusgang lipunan. Pero depende rin kasi sa effect ng gamot sa katawan ng tao. Merong mas nag-i-improve na bumaba o lumiit yung chest nila, meron namang hindi nababago. Pag nagpapa-shot po ako sa Makati Med, P13K po per shot. Hindi kasi siya puwede na isang shot lang, eh, continuous po kasi dapat yon. Maximum of 15 years po dapat. Ang isa pa sa effect ng gamot ay hindi na magkakaroon (menstruation). So, kung decided ka na mag-stop, kailangan mong magpatanggal ng matres.”</p>
