Actress and comedian Rufa Mae Quinto expressed her gratitude for how she is being admired and idolized by the younger generation.

During the media conference for her upcoming film Mujigae, Rufa Mae shared what she thinks about her having more Gen Z fans and other young stars even after years in the industry.

“Thank you so much, I love you guys,” she expressed. ‘Go, go, go’, ‘No, no, no’, ‘Todo na ‘to’ — wala namang hirap maintindihan.”

Rufa Mae also shared what’s the meaning behind her famous catchphrase “Go, go, go.”

Magagawa mo? E ‘di ‘Go, Go, Go’ na lang. Tsaka ngayon dapat matutunan niyo rin mag ‘No, No, No’. ‘Di ba? Kasi lagi na lang go eh,” she funnily explained.

Rufa Mae also reacted to how her Mujigae co-star and Kapamilya actress, Alexa Ilacad, looks up to her and calls her “happy pill”.

“Nakakatuwa nga siya eh. Tsaka talagang ano lahat sila parang feeling close talaga. Parang first time naming magkasama ata o magkakilala – alam ko. I mean maganda ‘yung – kaya kailangang maging mabuting tao ako lalo kasi syempre,” she said.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH, Alexa previously shared how happy she was finally being able to work with Rufa Mae.

Alexa also said that ever since she was younger, she has been a fan of Rufa Mae's and has watched her gag shows and films.

Tas pati yung ‘Booba’, kabisado ko ‘yung theme song nun, sobrang favorite ko ‘yun,” she stated as she also revealed that she was called “Booba” by her castmates in the film Four Sisters Before the Wedding.

Alexa also shared that she couldn't hold back being a fangirl in front of Rufa Mae, where she even recited a famous line from her film Status: Single.

‘Yung, 'Yes, Jane. Tanggap ko na, Jane,'” she remarked.

Alexa went on: “As in unang pagkikita namin ‘yun agad ang bungad ko sa kanya. Buti naman tinanggap niya ko. Tas sabi niya, 'yes, love na kita,' sabi niya. Nakakatuwa, sobrang happy, ang saya nung set namin.”
