<p>Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca shared that his passion for acting and the arts have not wavered in the past 23 years since he entered the showbiz industry. Even if you sign a three year contract, if you don’t do your best, you’re not going to get it again,” he shared.</p><p>He added how dedication and commitment to work is the secret to remaining grounded as an artist. While awards and other recognitions are a blessing for him, work is something he heavily gives a premium on.</p><p>“What stays true is your passion and dedication to your work so even at the highest of high–– winning awards or stuff like this–– the next day, what grounds you is your dedication and your commitment to work,” he added.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2024/9/4/jake-cuenca-and-gerald-anderson-on-their-17-year-friendship-951"><strong>READ: Jake Cuenca and Gerald Anderson on their 17-year friendship: ‘We are polar opposites… but still the same’<br/></strong></a></div><p>Jake then shared how he treats all roles given to him as equal–– no roles are too small for him as he will continue to give his best.</p><p>“The smaller the role is, the more you have to elevate it, the more you have to shine through and make an impact. Kahit may maliit kang role na nagagawa when you’re starting out, you put so much weight on that. Make it like your biggest project ever–– believe me, you will shine through. That’s how I did it for the past 23 years and I’m still here,” he advised.</p><p>The Kapamilya actor then assured his fans that he will remain a Forever Kapamilya as long as ABS-CBN still needs him.</p><p>“You always have to constantly show them something new, show them how good you really are… Just as long as ABS-CBN needs me, I’m here. But the day na feeling ko na hindi na nila ako kailangan, I would gracefully exit. Gracefully bow out and exit myself,” he ended.</p>
