Singer-songwriter Arthur Nery just held his sold-out concert, Arthur Nery Concert II, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City last October 25. Despite the heavy rains caused by Typhoon Kristine, the “Pagsamo” singer pushed through with his concert.

His concert was made possible by VIVA Live Events.

Prior to the opening of his show, he showed his support to the fans who weren’t able to attend the concert due to the typhoon.

“I’m deeply distraught about the storm and flooding currently affecting the lives of people around the country. To my fans who have been looking forward to seeing me perform but can’t, please know I have been thinking of you,” he shared.

Arthur’s team had set up a donation box at the merchandise booth for the fans who wanted to donate–– both in cash and in kind. He also revealed that he will be putting some of his stuff and outfits used in the concert on sale.

“I will be performing tonight at the Big Dome, but my heart and my mind will be with those who can’t show up. We will hopefully see each other under brighter circumstances. Always with love and in awe of your support,” he added.

Despite the heavy rains, there was an outpour of support coming from his fans. Guests such as Marielle Belleza, Earl Agustin, Atasha Muhlach, Jolianne, Jon Mejia, Kiyo, and Janine Teñoso, among others, were in attendance.

“Marami sa ating mga kababayan ang nasalanta and ang performance na ito at lahat ng cheers natin ngayong gabi ay para sa kanila,” he said.

Arthur’s concert was one for the books as he sang all the crowd favorites such as “Cotton Candy”, “Higa”, and “I Gotchu”, to name a few. He made sure fans in attendance got their money’s worth as he prepared several outfit changes and top-notch performances.

The three-hour concert ended on a high note as he closed it off with his hit song, “Take All The Love”.
