<p>Charo Santos shared why she was not allowed to talk for weeks by her doctor.</p><p>In an Instagram video, the actress relayed that she lost her voice all of the sudden following her hectic schedule.</p><p>&quot;Isang umaga gumising na lang ako wala na akong boses. Tapos naisip ko, siguro dahil dun sa back-to-back taping schedules ko ng <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo"><em><strong>Batang Quiapo</strong></em></a> and my military training. Bumagsak na nga &#x27;yung immune system ko,&quot; she said.</p><p>The Kapamilya actress and executive then had to stop talking. &quot;I was given strict instructions by my doctor not to talk, not to even whisper so hirap na hirap talaga ako nung FTX (Field Training Exercise) ko. I had to use a whiteboard and pentel pen to communicate with the commanding officer and the military training instructors. A bit raspy pero may lumalabas na and hopefully by next week makabalik na ako sa taping ng <em>Batang Quiapo</em>. See you soon,&quot; she said.</p><p>Charo recently became a Philippine Air Force Reservist after she graduated from the Reservist training on October 19.</p><p>&quot;It’s never too late to start something new, to challenge yourself, and to keep on growing,&quot; she posted on social media after her graduation.</p><p>She went on: &quot;[It was] a journey that was as rewarding as it was challenging.
