The coffin used by Dingdong Dantes in the hit 2023 film Rewind just got sold for P250 thousand to YouTube star Boss Toyo.

The metal casket found its new home to the YouTuber after funeral home businessman Pasky Ilagan brought it to their shop.

Boss Toyo has been collecting several items from various personalities for his upcoming museum.

Some of his collections include the jersey of the late Filipino rapper Francis Magalona, among others.

The YouTuber made sure to ask if the bronze-colored metal casket was the original one used in the top-grossing film.

The businessman from St. Athanasius Memorial Chapel confirmed it was indeed the one used in the movie, providing a video of Dingdong lying in the coffin to prove it.

Boss Toyo then asked Pasky his asking price for the coffin, to which the businessman revealed that he wanted to sell it for a million pesos.

The businessman then added that the mattress inside the casket was supposed to be signed by the Rewind actor but was unable to do so.

The vlogger admitted that the price was too high and haggled it down even more. Boss Toyo asked for the original price for the casket, and the bidding for the price continued for as low as P200,000.

In the end, both parties agreed that the casket would be sold at P250,000. Boss Toyo then invited Dingdong to join him in a future vlog so he could sign the casket to prove its authenticity.

“Sir Dingdong, alam ko nanood ka lagi ng ‘Pinoy Pawnstar’ so dito sa harapan ko 'yung hinigaan mo sa ‘Rewind’, I hope 'pag nagkasundo kami ni sir, pasyalan mo naman ako sa aking munting shop para mapirmahan mo,” he said.

Rewind has become the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time surpassing Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards’ Hello, Love Goodbye. The movie was the official entry of Star Cinema to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.
