Netflix announced that the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival hit movie Rewind is set to be streamed on their platform this March.

"Sa susunod na habang buhay…ay mapapanood niyo na ang Rewind, starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, sa Netflix! Arriving on March 25," Netflix said on social media.

Fans online were quick to react to the news.

"Panoorin nyo po napakaganda, sobrang napaiyak ako," one fan commented.

"This movie made me cry like a river until the end. Best movie of 2023. Buti nasa Netflix na sya soon," another fan wrote.

Last January 26, Star Cinema announced that the movie became the highest grossing Filipino of all time as it earned ₱889  million in gross sales worldwide.

"DAMANG DAMA NAMIN ANG GREATEST LOVE NIYO ALL OVER THE WORLD! 🌏⏪ #SalamatLods! ☝🏼💚," the film outfit wrote on social media.

On February 12, a special awarding ceremony commemorating the success of Rewind was held at the Quezon City Hall and attended by lead stars Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.

Last February 19, Rewind made its way to the Philippine Senate with Resolution 106.

"To the millions of Pinoys, here and abroad, who showed their love for the film and support for the MMFF—this recognition is as much yours as it is ours. You have given us hope in the resurgence of our beloved movie industry," Dingdong wrote on social media following the recognition.

A thanksgiving event with the cast and crew was held on January 17.

"Noong binasa namin ‘to, isa lang gusto namin mangayari, bonus na lang figure, alam namin maraming pinagdaanan tao ng pandemic. Kaya sabi namin sana gawin kami instrumento ng Panginoon na ma-touch puso nila na magbago at mas mahalin mga tao sa paligid nila," Marian said at the event.

She went on: "'Yung message na ito lang makalat sa mga tao... Ang pinaka importante sa amin ay ang message ng film na ito, na talagang tumatak sa puso nila."
