Korean actor Kim Won-shik arrived in the Philippines to film for his role in the upcoming Philippine adaptation of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim.

"This is my first time to meet Kim (Chiu) and Paulo (Avelino) but I used to know Kim before. [Kim] was really, really famous when I was a student here in the Philippines back in 2011 I think." he said in an interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News.

The actor relayed that the late Dreamscape Head Deo Endrinal handpicked him for his role in the series. "I really appreciate it and I was so honored that he picked me," he said.

The actor admitted that he felt pressured but at the same time elated to be part of What's Wrong with Secretary Kim.

"[I'm] so nervous that I [come] back here having a project. I really didn't expect that I would have projects here in the Philippines," he said.

When asked what other projects he has recently worked on, Won-shik relayed: "I just finished filming another drama so it's going to be shown in spring I think. I just finished two days ago."
