TWICE marks comeback with new English single ‘I Got You’

K-Pop group TWICE released their brand new English single "I Got You" on Friday, February 2.

The song marks the comeback of the girl group, nine months since they released their Japanese track "Hare Hare" in May of 2023.

The music video for the song premiered on the YouTube channel of JYP Entertainment.

The song is set to be part of the group's mini album With YOU-th which will drop on February 23.

"I Got You" conveys the message of the strong friendship among the members. "No matter what, you got me, I got you. And I wouldn't want it any other way," the chorus of the song says.

Fans of the group were quick to react to the song on social media.

"This is not just a comeback, this is a tribute to their genuine friendship," one fan commented.

"I love that TWICE makes songs about all types of love, between friends, family, and partners- it’s all just about being supported and connected to others," another fan posted.

"Love how the MV conveys TWICE's love for each other so clearly," one fan wrote.

Meanwhile on February 4, TWICE announced that they will be releasing another version of "I Got You" featuring Lauv.

They announced that the song would drop on February 5.

Last year, TWICE brought their Ready to Be concert to the Philippines at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on September 30 and October 1.

They kicked off the said tour in April 2023. They recently brought the concert tour to Latin  America and they are set to stage it in Las Vegas this coming April.

Composed of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, TWICE made their debut in October 2015 with their extended play (EP) called The Story Begins.

Other EPs of the group included Page Two, Twicecoaster: Lane 1, Signal, What Is Love?, Yes or Yes, and Fancy You, among others.

Meanwhile, the group released three albums to date including Twicetagram, Eyes Wide Open, and Formula of Love: O+T=<3.
