Local film production company 28 Squared Studios has partnered with Warner Bros. on a distribution deal for their movie, Under Parallel Skies.Under Parallel Skies stars Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador and Thai superstar Win Metawin. <div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2024/2/28/janella-salvador-win-metawin-film-under-parallel-skies-set-to-have-world-premiere-in-hong-kong-1134">READ: Janella Salvador, Win Metawin film ‘Under Parallel Skies’ set to have world premiere in Hong Kong</a></div>28 Squared Studios CEO and the film’s executive producer Richard Juan expressed his joy in the historic partnership. “Especially considering that &#x27;Under Parallel Skies&#x27; is our debut film, partnering with such an esteemed name in the industry not only elevates the film&#x27;s profile but also opens up unparalleled opportunities for distribution and audience reach. For me personally, it&#x27;s both an honor and a profound validation of the hard work, creativity, and dedication that went into making this film,” he said. Both film studios will seal the partnership through an event this March 5. It has always been our mission at 28 Squared Studios to champion impactful stories in the Philippines, Asia, and beyond. With this partnership, we will be able to continue fulfilling that mission,” he expressed. Under Parallel Skies follows the story of a Thai bachelor named Parin (portrayed by Win) who travels to Hong Kong in search of his missing mother. He encounters a Filipino hotelier named Iris (played by Janella) who helps him navigate love, heartbreak, and healing in the foreign city amid their differences in culture and identity.
