Noontime show It's Showtime will start airing on GMA starting this April 6.

The partnership signing between ABS-CBN and GMA for It's Showtime was held on Wednesday, March 20, at the GMA compound. The executives from both networks were present at the event for the said contract signing.

The event was also attended by It's Showtime hosts including Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, Amy Perez, Karylle, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ogie Alcasid, and Ryan Bang, among others.

Carlo Katigbak, CEO and President of ABS-CBN, expressed his gratitude to GMA for providing another home for It's Showtime.

"Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home... Thank you for the historic occasion. We have so much gratitude for you all today. One of the reasons why our partnership has become so successful [is because we have a common goal] in bringing more stories and more programs to as many Filipinos as possible."

Carlo also extended his gratitude to the It's Showtime hosts saying: "Thank you for all you do to us and for not giving up."

The ABS-CBN executive also expressed his gratitude to the madlang people saying: "Para sa madlang people, salamat sa tuluy-tuloy na pagsuporta niyo sa Showtime."

Meanwhile, Gilberto Duavit Jr., GMA Network's CEO, remarked that they are ecstatic to have It's Showtime on the Kapuso network.

"We are very proud and very happy to have Showtime in GMA. You bring so much joy and so much happiness to many people... Welcome to GMA!" the Kapuso executive stated.

Aside from GMA, It's Showtime will also simultaneously air on GTV.

In a video played during the event, Anne expressed her excitement to be part of the historic event.

"It has always been our purpose to make our madlang people happy since day one. We can't wait to introduce ourselves to you our Kapuso. To our GMA family, sobra sobra kaming nagpapasalamat for taking us in," Anne remarked.
