<p>Regine Velasquez expressed how proud she was of Sarah Geronimo for receiving the Global Force Award at the Billboard Women in Music 2024 which was recently held in the US in early March.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m very proud of her, she was so beautiful on the red carpet because I saw some of the clips and her wonderful speech, &#x27;yung kanyang thank you speech, I thought it was really nice,&quot; Regine said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.</p><p>The Asia&#x27;s Songbird commended Sarah for speaking in Tagalog in her speech saying, &quot;I love that nagta-Tagalog [siya] na kahit nasa ibang bansa siya na parang gusto ko na nagta-Tagalog siya kasi kinakausap niya tayo eh so it was wonderful. For me, this recognition signifies courage and hope.
