Joross Gamboa, Hero Angeles mark 20th anniversary of SCQ with throwback posts

Former Star Circle Quest finalist Joross Gamboa took to social media to mark the 20th anniversary of the show, which paved the way for him to join the entertainment industry.

On his Instagram page, Joross wrote: "Happy 20 years anniversary!!!”

“Sa lahat ng kasama namin sa Journey nato mga sumuporta at sumubaybay… MGA GURANG NA TAYO! ✌🏼😝” he quipped. “LOVE YOU ALL!!!”

On the comments section, he added another throwback memory from SCQ days.

“Naaalala niyo pa ba yung Ktxt send to 2366,” he said.

Fans of Joross were quick to react to his post.

“Nakakaubos ng load ah haha,” replied one netizen. 

"Kayo 'yung notebook ko pag grade 4 eh🤣🤣," another fan commented.

"Follower here ng batch niyo. Pumupunta pa kami sa ABS para makita kayo," another fan posted.

Star Circle Quest winner Hero Angeles also marked the occasion with a trip back memory lane and shared his portrait shots from the competition.

Fans of Hero were also quick to react to his  post.

The first season of Star Circle Quest premiered on ABS-CBN on March 1, 2004.

The show featured 10 contestants, known as "questors," who participated in a series of talent training sessions and various challenges designed to hone their skills.

Through weekly eliminations, the competition narrowed down the competitors until one final questor remained and was crowned the Grand Questor.

Hero emerged as the winner of its first season. Runner-ups were Sandara Park, Roxanne Guinoo, Joross, and Melissa Ricks.

Following their stint in the program, the finalists in the show starred in SCQ Reload: OK Ako! in 2004.

Hero headlined film projects including Bcuz of U and Can This Be Love.

Meanwhile, Joross also starred in various film projects including Suddenly It's Magic, Can't Help Falling in Love, and Hello, Love, Goodbye.
