Actor Gabby Eigenmann shared that he is willing to take on the role of their late father, Mark Gil, in walking down his half-sister, Andi Eigenmann, down the aisle during her wedding day. The Kapuso actor revealed this information during a press conference for his latest television series.

Andi has been engaged to her longtime partner, Philmar Alipayo, who she also lives with in the island of Siargao.

“Siyempre, di ba, ngayon engaged [na] sila? One way or another, anytime soon they’re gonna get married. Who’s gonna walk her down the aisle— ako yun,” he shared with the press.

Gabby’s statement comes after he promised the late Jaclyn Jose that he will be taking care of her children, Andi and Gwen, in her place. He previously shared this on his Instagram account  two weeks after the passing of the veteran actress.

“Don’t worry, Tita Jane, I will be the one to guide them. You will remain in our hearts and I will always make them feel how much you loved them deeply. I love you, Tita Jane, and I am thankful because I also felt your love for me and my family,” he previously shared.

Meanwhile, Gabby shared that he is glad that Philmar and Jake Ejercito, his sister’s ex-boyfriend, have been getting along well during these trying times for the actress. He revealed that the two exchanged greetings during the wake of the late actress.

“Okay sila. You know, they both respect each other. Nakakatuwa nga and I’m very, very grateful of course sa family ni Jake, who’s been supportive [throughout] the whole process of— basta, kasi hindi namin alam [ano] gagawin, to be honest,” he shared.

“These are good men who love my sister. For sure, Jake still loves my sister, not as a partner but as the mother of their daughter, Ellie. Okay lang din naman kay Andi. Ang main goal naman dito is whatever makes Andi happy, I will support,” he closed.
