Filipino EXO-Ls trooped to the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Saturday, April 13, as Baekhyun held his first solo concert.

Organized by local concert organizer Wilbros Live, the K-pop idol fulfilled his promise to his fans of coming back after his last visit in May 2023.

Here are some highlights from Baekhyun’s Lonsdaleite Tour in Manila:

Baekhyun’s stunning vocals and radiating visuals

EXO Baekhyun continued to prove why he is called one of the K-pop gods as he swept fans off their feet with his soothing voice echoing in the whole coliseum.

The K-pop star sang his hit songs such as "Stay Up," "Ice Queen," "Love Scene," "Bungee," "Privacy," and "Amusement Park" and also showcased his explosive high notes in "Cry For Love" and "Love Again."

He also gave a treat for his fans as he opened the show with two of his group’s songs, "Diamond" and "Playboy." He even did the rap part which he proudly celebrated.

“Sobrang sayang mag-rap. What if kaya mag-rap na lang ako? Yes?” he said as translated by the event’s translator.

(It's fun to do the rap part. What if I will be doing it? Yes?)

Besides his vocals, Baekhyun’s visuals made all the fans scream at the top of their lungs while he waved and walked along the stage greeting them from every corner.

Baekhyun’s hot and cool moves

Baekhyun also showed to his EXO-Ls his duality by grooving in spicy and cool performances.

He performed a sexy and steamy stage for his songs "Bambi," "Ghost," "Underwater" and got everyone "rolling rolling" with "UN Village."

As he changed into his streetwear-inspired wardrobe, Baekhyun performed his songs "Poppin,’" "R’ U Ridin’?" "Betcha," and brought the whole place colorful with his song "Candy."

“Nag-enjoy ba kayo?” he asked. “Alam mo itong section na ito, feeling ko, Philippine Eris really expect it.”

(Do you like it? I feel like this section of the concert is something that is expected by Philippine Eris.)

A plus for the segment was how cutely Baekhyun posed and grooved.

Baekhyun speaking Filipino words

Another highlight of Baekhyun's tour was his way of showing his love for his fans through learning their local language.

Baekhyun revealed that he learned some Filipino words which he wanted to show off to his fans.

“Kumusta? Ako si Baekhyun! Na-miss ko kayo!” Baekhyun said as he welcomed the fans at his show.

(How are you? I am Baekhyun! I miss you all.)

He even expressed appreciation to everyone who dressed up in white-colored outfits and his requested lettuce clips.

“Philippine Eri, gwapo! Mahal kita!” he said.

(Philippine Eri, good looking! I love you!)

In the latter part of the show, Baekhyun also chanted ‘don’t go’ with his fans, who wished for him to stay a bit longer with them.

“Walang uuwi! Walang uuwi!” he smilingly said. (No one is going home! No one is going home!)

He then expressed gratitude to all who came to see him with his last Filipino greetings.

“Salamat po!” he remarked with a finger heart. (Thank you!)

Surprise video for Baekhyun

Filipino EXO-Ls also expressed their love for the K-pop idol through a surprise video.

During the photo taking part of the concert, Baekhyun was shocked to see a video of fan messages for him.

“We will be in different places, but you will always be cherished by us! Mahal ka ng Phixos, Baekhyunee!! Araw-araw, palagi! Sa’yo lang uuwi!” they said as the video featured Baekhyun’s journey and greetings from fans all over the country.

(We will be in different places, but you will always be cherished by us! You are love by Phixos, Baekhyunee!! Every day we will choose you! We will come home to you!)

Some of the highlights from the surprise project were young fans who called Baekhyun their ‘samcheon’ or uncle, and how he teased other fans who appeared on the screen.

“Nandito pala kayo, Salamat. Sikat ka na,” he jokingly said, which made the crowd laugh. (You are all here. Thank you! You are now famous.)

Baekhyun’s promise to his Filipino fans

Baekhyun stayed true to his promises to his Filipino fans last year.

“Last year, I was here di ba?” he said. “Hindi ba nag-promise ako na I will come back to the Philippines and I made the promise, right? Maraming, maraming salamat sa lahat ng naghintay!”

(Last year, I was here, right? I promised you that I will come back to the Philippines, and I made the promise, right? Thank you to everyone who waited for me.)

“Maraming salamat po for not forgetting me during that time,” he expressed.

(Thank you for not forgetting me during that time.)

As he once again felt the overflowing support and love from his Filipino EXO-Ls, the K-pop idol had another promise which he confidently made.

“Promise babalik ako. Promise…. Once again, paulit-ulit ako pero sobrang saya ko na bumalik ako sa Philippines,” he expressed.

(I promise I will come back. Once again, I may keep on repeating this but I'm very happy and I will come back in the Philippines.)

He even announced that he wanted to have a 2-day concert to spend more time with them.

“I really wanna do it in 2 days… I really wanna have more fun with you guys… Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta at inyong mga cheer,” he lovingly said. (Thank you for all your support and cheers.)
