The sporty lawyer from Cebu, Oliver Moeller, received a lot of attention from viewers and fans of Kapamilya noontime show, It’s Showtime, after his participation in the show’s hit segment, EXpecially For You.

In an exclusive interview with MJ Felipe, the lawyer expressed how he felt after trending online and gaining more followers.

“It’s been crazy overwhelming. I never thought that people would actually watch that. I just do it for fun, you know, just putting out content out there,” he told MJ.

Oliver also admitted that beyond the popularity he gained, his guesting on the hit show also gave a way for him to expand his network.

“Yes, I think it has. It’s just like expanding my network, expanding my connections. Maybe looking at some things in Manila,” he expressed.

When asked if he is open to joining the show business industry, the Cebuano lawyer revealed that he has been considering switching careers.

“I am actually considering it. Partly the reason why I’m here,” he stated.

Oliver first appeared as one of the searchees in the hit segment of the show where he was picked by the guest star searcher, Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee, with her mom, Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, to go out on a date with the former.

Besides Oliver’s appearance and his similarities to Kapamilya hunk Piolo Pascual, netizens were also charmed by the lawyer’s answer to Michelle’s questions regarding his stand on working things out between his mother and Michelle’s mom as well as how he would support Michelle’s career despite challenges in their careers.

Oliver was also teased by the show's other host, Kim Chiu, who translated his Cebuano greetings for Michelle.

Oliver revisited the show where he was teased by the hosts for seemingly looking for a specific person.

“Parang may binibisita siya dito,” Vhong Navarro said.

Vice Ganda added, “Naku si Kim Chiu ata binibisita. Bakit ka nagbalik?”

“Ah just wanted to meet lang some people here,” the lawyer answered, making everyone tease the two Cebuanos.

MJ also asked the lawyer about sources revealing he actually had a crush on Kim prior to his TV guest appearance.

“I’ve always thought Kim was a pretty person, also from Cebu, so I guess you can say that,” he said smilingly.

He then answered if he is actually courting the What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim star.

“I don’t think it’s fair that I speak about that without her permission. Sorry, I hope you understand. Kim is pretty nice,” he said.
