<p>Kapamilya singer-host Ogie Alcasid proudly expressed how much of a fan he is of Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano. He revealed that since the first day, he was already a fan of the veteran singer-songwriter.</p><p>“Flex ko lang ‘tong friend ko. Real talk lang. I have always been a fan. I met him in 1984 when I was a member of Kundirana and he was mentoring us on the fundamentals of live performance most especially in choreography as he was already a superstar at this time,” he recalled.</p><p>“Followed his career and music. Inspired by his life. As fate would have it, we would be put together in shows on ABS-CBN called Your Face Sounds Familiar, ASAP Natin ‘to, co hurado for Tawag ng Tanghalan sa It’s Showtime. and even did a film together entitled Idobidoobidoo,” he added.</p><p>The It’s Showtime mainstay then shared how he witnessed once more how dedicated Gary still is to his craft as an artist despite being in the industry for so long.  </p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2023/12/22/ogie-alcasid-regine-velasquez-celebrate-13th-anniversary-1930"><strong>READ: Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez celebrate 13th anniversary<br/></strong></a></div><p>“Last night, I witnessed his full testimony of his dedication to his craft, his amazing artistry, and most importantly his FAITH. That faith which makes him constantly point us to JESUS. Last night was worship and last night was Church. God bless you brother and all that you do in the name of our Lord and Savior. Love you man. @garyvalenciano,” he ended.</p><p>In the comment section of the singer’s post, Gary made sure to reciprocate the lengthy post. He expressed his gratitude towards Ogie and his family and assured them that he will also be by their side.</p><p>“I love you my bro. Thank you for all the years of genuine friendship…brotherhood!!! God bless you @reginevalcasid and Nate even more!!!! Here for you always Ogie,” Gary added.</p><p>Meanwhile, Gary is set to hold his third and final day of his concert on May 10 at the same venue. Fans who will attend the third day will surely be treated a night of music and inspiration which is all coming from the 40 years of experience of Mr. Pure Energy in the industry.</p>
