<p>Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo were named Box Office King and Queen respectively at this year&#x27;s Box Office Entertainment Awards by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation (GMMSF).</p><p>The two stars received their awards at the event held at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater in Ateneo De Manila University on Sunday, May 12.</p><p>Kathryn was named Box Office queen for her role in <em>A Very Good Girl.</em></p><p>&quot;This wouldn&#x27;t be possible without <em>A Very Good Girl</em>. So this is a blessing and sana po marami rin akong ma-inspire pang ibang aktor na kagaya ko na gumawa ng mga kalidad na pelikula at ang maging intention po lagi at ang kanilang motivation is to bring back the glory days of Philippine cinema,&quot; he said.</p>
