Kaila Estrada reflects on big plot twist of her role Bettina

<p>Kaila Estrada revealed that she only knew that her character Bettina was the killer in <em id="isPasted">Can&#x27;t Buy Me Love</em> days before they filmed the scenes leading to the finale of the series.</p><p>&quot;Nagulat din ako kasi katulad nga ng sinabi ni Donny (Pangilinan) and Belle (Mariano), it was quite an interesting experience because we didn&#x27;t really know what was going to happen until maybe a few days before we shot the ending. I personally didn&#x27;t know that Bettina was the killer until a few days before we shot the scene of the hostage-taking in the forest,&quot; she shared in an interview with ABS-CBN News.</p><p>The actress expressed her gratitude to Star Creatives for giving her role such a big plot twist in the end.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m grateful, very grateful to Star Creatives for giving Bettina such an impactful ending. Bettina, though she&#x27;s such a strong and independent woman, she often feels overlooked... She had to ask for love, and she never really got it... I was like, this is her last moment to tell her family everything... So she just wanted to give it everything, tell them everything,&quot; she stated.</p><p>On the life lessons she learned from playing her character, Kaila relayed: &quot;It&#x27;s important to have that connection and that open line of communication with the people that you love...
