Renowned Filipino musician Bullet Dumas is set to make a highly anticipated return to the stage with his upcoming concert, Nananatili. After a hiatus to focus on theater and film, Bullet is ready to reconnect with his fans and audience, promising a memorable and unique experience.

Nananatili will take place on June 8 at the Music Museum in San Juan City.

Bullet, known for his soulful music, took a break from the music scene to explore new creative avenues. His last performance was in October 2018 at the same venue, Music Museum, where he launched his previous album, Usisa. Now, teaming up with Gabi Na Naman Productions, Bullet is excited to present a concert that goes beyond a typical musical performance.

“Ayoko yung basta basta nalang ako babalik sa music. If babalik man ako I wanted new material at eto na yung biggest chance ko to do it,” Bullet shared during a press conference for Nananatili

He emphasized the preparation involved in creating this show, highlighting a blend of new material, and his signature style of performing with just his guitar.

His creative process now incorporates elements he learned from theater, where every line and action has an intention.

“Yung mga natutunan ko sa theater at film, I want to apply it here. So medyo mas malupit yung preparations ko for this,” he added.

The concert’s title, Nananatili, carries a deep significance for Bullet. “Yung 'nananatili,' super namangha lang ako sa word tapos nung tinranslate ko siya sa English 'still,' something like 'enduring' or andon lang sa isang lugar... yun yung parang working concept,” he shared.

The show will be a compilation of songs about themes that resonate deeply with him. “It’s a compilation of songs about grief, love, and acceptance, kasi when the year started ang dami kong kilala na nag pass away,” he said.

Fans can look forward to a well crafted and emotionally charged performance. As part of the co-production with Gabi Na Naman productions, Bullet had significant input in the creative direction of the show.

He shared, “Yung creative direction dito, mas naging open kami sa isa’t isa, nag present ako ng ideas sa kanila, and sila din mas madami.”

Bullet Dumas’ Nananatili concert is marked to be a significant event, marking his thoughtful and heartfelt return to the stage.
