<p>Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo’s mother, Contessa Manalo, turned emotional after her daughter bagged the title during the coronation night.</p><p>&quot;Sobrang saya po. Matagal na pong pangarap ng anak ko. Natupad rin. Sabi niya, &#x27;Mommy, I&#x27;m ready,&#x27; so &#x27;yun po sinuportahan namin &#x27;yung anak namin,&quot; Contessa said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.</p><p>She shared that they have been with their daughter every step of the way in her journey in the pageant.</p><p>&quot;Kami po the whole time, kami lang po kasama niya, ako at asawa ko, kami lang po &#x27;yung umaalalay sa anak ko. Iyon po &#x27;yung gusto niya, pangarap niya, susuportahan po namin siya hanggang sa ito na nga,&quot; she said.  </p><p>Contessa added: &quot;Nagpapasalamat ako sa Panginoon natupad niya &#x27;yung pangarap ng anak ko. Mahal na mahal ka namin alam mo &#x27;yan.&quot;</p><p>Meanwhile, in a separate interview, Chelsea offered her win to her parents.</p><p>&quot;I feel so happy. Thank you so much to all those who believed in me. I love you mom, I love you dad. This is not just for me but for you. And all the people who supported me, I will do great. We will do good. I&#x27;m so excited to go to Mexico,&quot; she said as reported by ABS-CBN News.</p><p>Chelsea&#x27;s biological father is an American. It&#x27;s been four months... When I was performing on that stage, I was looking at my younger self. This has been my dream since I was a child. And I did it for the people who supported me, like my parents,&quot; she stated.</p>
