Agsunta enters exciting new chapter with major management deal

OPM rock band Agsunta has officially signed a co-management contract with Cornerstone Entertainment, which marked a significant milestone in their career. This partnership aims to expand Agsunta’s reach and enrich their participation in live events both in the Philippines and internationally.

Agsunta is currently managed by PPL Artists Management, and with this new collaboration with Cornerstone Entertainment, it promises a broader audience and more exciting opportunities for the band. Agsunta has been in the music industry for over a decade, and is now set to enter a new era of creativity.

Jireh Singson, the band’s vocalist, expressed the group’s enthusiasm and gratitude. 

“Siyempre sobrang overwhelmed kami ngayon lalo na 'yung sinabi ni Sir Jeff [Vadillo], sobrang heartfelt, hindi namin akalain na may mga taong sobrang support sa OPM,” Jireh shared. “Mas marami kaming gagawin na mga shows, maraming ire-release na songs na original na nakabangko lang sa amin, ilang years na rin. Full force, mga originals naman ang ilalabas namin.”

Agsunta is known for its diverse musical style and the band intends to continue this trend, refusing to be confined to a single genre. 

“Sa sound, more on, sa panahon ngayon, ‘yung genre hindi naka-stick sa isa. ‘Yung genre namin as a band magkakaiba talaga, magkakaibang tunog,” Jireh explained. 

The band also has aspirations to feature popular celebrities in their upcoming music videos. They have expressed interest in collaborating with notable stars such as Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, and Ivana Alawi. 

Reflecting on their previous collaboration with Alawi in the 2018 music video for "Wakasan," Singson mentioned, “Gusto ko lang magkaroon ng part 2 ng ganun. Kahit sobrang sikat na niya ngayon.”

Jeff Vadillo, Vice President of Cornerstone Management, expressed confidence in Agsunta’s potential. “We really believe in the talent. We believe na marami ang pwedeng i-share, bagong music, bagong shows, bagong concerts,” Jeff stated. 

As Agsunta embarks on this new chapter with Cornerstone Entertainment, fans can look forward to an exciting array of original music and live performances.
