BINI, the Nation’s Girl Group, once again captured the spotlight on the Chinese reality show, Show It All with their performance of their hit, “Pantropiko.” The summer anthem, infused with tropical vibes and infectious energy, resonated with the audience, which offered a taste of the Philippines’ vibrant music scene.

“Pantropiko is a summer song,” BINI’s Sheena began, summarizing the meaning of their single. The song attempts to take listeners to a tropical paradise, even when they are unable to physically be there, with lyrics that bring images of sandy beaches and clear-blue skies.

“If you can’t go to the Philippines, we’ll bring the Philippines to you,” added BINI’s leader, Jhoanna, emphasizing the group’s mission to spread joy and positivity. Aiah chimed in, echoing the sentiment, “Because it’s more fun in the Philippines.”

The surprise success of “Pantropiko” even took BINI’s producer and director, Lauren Dyogi, by surprise. “When we launched it, everybody liked it and everybody was dancing to it on TikTok,” he revealed, highlighting the song’s widespread appeal.

During their performance on Show it All, BINI aimed to capture the essence of a beach getaway, with Stacey saying, “We want them to feel like they’re on the beach [and] sipping some Piña Colada.” The lively rendition of the song drew praise from everyone, with EXO’s Lay Zhang commending their performance with “bravo” and “amazing.”

The group’s vocal skills and stage presence were celebrated by the contestants, with some noting their sunny and cheerful presence, which brought strength to the performance. One contestant mentioned, “This power combined with their dedication to the stage makes this stage truly legendary.”
