Fumiya Sankai changes name to FuMi; drops debut song ‘Beng’

<p dir="ltr">After former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Fumiya Sankai announced on his social media that he was closing his YouTube channel FumiShun Base, he then revealed his next move in his career–– to be a singer. And good bye. I will be reborn as an artist FuMi,” he wrote.</p><p>The Japanese artist then revealed that FuMi is still directed towards his goal of trying to bridge Japanese and Filipino cultures together through him. </p><p>“I am to be a bridge between the Philippines and Japan, under the theme &#x27;For u, Making impact.&#x27; The reason the U and I are in lowercase letters means that you and I are equal,” he revealed.</p><p>FuMi continued to share that he will be singing not only in Japanese but in Filipino and English languages as well. His debut song claims to feature just that as he takes his fans “to a new world”.  </p><p>“I am nothing without my fans. We are all the same. I am also a normal human being. I sing Tagalog, English, and Japanese in my songs. My music blends Japanese and Filipino cultures, creating a unique world that influences people. I will release my first song bukas.
