Jaya welcomes first grandchild

OPM singer Jaya is a proud grandmother to her first grandchild, Grayson Gage, who was born earlier this week. The country’s Queen of Soul took to her Instagram account to express how happy she is to meet her first grandson.

Jaya shared that Grayson Gage is an “absolute gift from heaven” for their family.

“Our apo has finally arrived! Grayson Gage Gara Gotidoc born June 18, 2024 is absolute gift from heaven for our family. Now, there's 7 of us. God is so good. Thank you Lord,” she wrote.

“We welcome you with so much joy and so grateful that I get to be your Lola. And Gavin, and Athena, I am so proud and happy for you two. You did it, and did it well. God bless you... love you ❤️❤️❤️ To @suzannev808 and @jonlylegara my goodness we are now Grandmas!!!! I'm celebrating with you,” she added.

Friends and fans of the singer expressed their happiness for her family in the comment section. Some netizens started calling Jaya “lola sexy” in the comments as they can’t believe she’s already a grandmother.

Jaya and her family are currently living in the US after deciding to make the big move in 2021. The singer has been sharing updates about their lives in their new home and is still in constant communication with her Filipino fans.

Earlier this year, Jaya revealed she was caught in a car accident while she was on the way to the concert of Regine Velasquez. She assured everyone that she was fine despite the unfortunate incident.
