Nobita creates song for Cong TV and Viy Cortez as wedding gift

<p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">Filipino rock band Nobita created a special moment for beloved online personalities Cong TV and Viy Cortez by composing and performing “Gitna” for the couple’s wedding. </p><div style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5"> </div><p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">The song was shared in a heartfelt live performance during the couple&#x27;s nuptials, adding an emotional and memorable touch to their big day.</p><div style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5"> </div><p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">Nobita, known for their soulful and resonant music, dedicated “Gitna” to Cong and Viy, emphasizing the unique essence of their relationship. The band members presented the newlyweds with framed lyrics of the song before performing it live.</p><div style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5"><br/></div><p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">Singer Jaeson Felisimino expressed the band&#x27;s gratitude for being able to perform the song in front of Cong and Viy. &quot;I think the universe allowed it to play the song in front of — sa harapan nila mismo. Sa harapan mismo ng inspirasyon ng kanta,” he said, highlighting the significance of the moment.</p><div style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5"> </div><p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">“I think the song perfectly embodies kung anong klaseng relasyon ang mayroon si Cong at saka si Viy. Which is, hindi siya perfect. Which I think dapat naman na sa isang relasyon,” one band member explained. </p><div style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5"> </div><p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">The song “Gitna,” composed specifically for Cong and Viy, refers to the aisle they walked down together. The band aimed to capture the essence of their relationship, which they described as imperfect yet resilient. </p><div style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5"> </div><p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, a band member shared, “Naalala ko noon noong sinusulat ‘yung kanta, ang iniisip ko talaga, ang iniisip ko noon is ano ‘yung feeling ni Cong ‘pag nakita niyang dumarating si Ate Viy, papalapit sa harapan niya.” </p><div style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5"> </div><p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">“Gitna” was written years ago during a jamming session when the idea of the song first emerged. Nobita noted that other Team Payaman members like Kevin, Junie Boy, and Keng had also used their songs for their weddings. </p><div style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5"> </div><p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">“Yung song, I think 2021 lang siya nagawa,” a band member recalled. “Sabi nga namin na hindi pa sila kinakasal pero alam namin na doon din sila pupunta, so may sinulat na kaming song, which is ‘yung ‘Gitna’.”</p><div style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5"> </div><p style="margin:0cm;line-height:1.5">While &quot;Gitna&quot; will be released to the public, no specific date has been set yet.
