In an interview during the press conference for his birthday concert, Jed expressed how great of an artist Stell is and how he saw his younger self in him.

The Kapamilya singer also cheered on Stell’s continuous success and wished him to be able to show more of his wonderful artistry.

“I watched his performance at the David Foster concert, ang galing… I think he (also) guested in Erik Santos's concert in the US. Tuloy-tuloy na iyan kasi he’s very good and as long as, you know, you really stick to your core, tuloy-tuloy na 'yan,” he stated.

When asked what kind of music he would suggest for his and Stell’s possible collaboration, the singer said that he wants it to be an original song suited for both vocal ranges and power.
