<p>The filming for the sequel to the fantasy-comedy film <em>Freaky Friday</em> has commenced.</p><p>On Tuesday, June 25, Disney shared a clip and a snapshot of Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis on their first day on the set of the movie.</p><p>&quot;The Colemans are back and coming to theaters in 2025! Meanwhile, Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan are the new cast members.</p><p>The first <em>Freaky Friday</em> film was released in 2003. The movie follows the story of a mother and daughter who magically switch bodies for a day.</p><p>Lindsay Lohan plays Anna Coleman, a rebellious teenager struggling with school, her band, and her relationship with her mother. Jamie Lee Curtis portrays Tess Coleman, Anna&#x27;s mother, a successful therapist about to remarry, who has trouble understanding her daughter&#x27;s behavior and interests.</p><p>The film was a hit and grossed more than $160 million worldwide and received positive reviews from critics.
