PH Runners get ready as the hit South Korean variety show Running Man members are returning to Manila this July 6 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Local concert promoter PULP Live World announced on their social media pages the upcoming “Run 2 U: Running Man Live in Manila” event, where the members personally invited their fans in a very Filipino way.

“Handa na ba kayo, Philippine Runners! We are Running Man!” they greeted in an artificial intelligence (AI) generated video.

“Magkita ulit tayo sa PH. Tanda niyo pa ba talaga? Nakabalik na kami. Nakatakdang magkita sa inyong lahatan,” veteran host and comedian Yoo Jae Suk said.

Singer and host Kim Jong-kook also recalled the energetic and heartwarming welcome of the fans from their first visit last year.

“Yep yep! Ang inyong enerhiya at pag-ibig at sa mga bagay na naririnig namin. Malakas na sigaw, sobrang namimiss (namin) kaya nagprepare kami,” he added.

“Magkita-kita tayo muli! Fighting!” they said in chorus, ending their invitation to fans.

All six members of the variety program were present in the video, including other cast members such as Haha, Jee Seok-jin, Song Ji-hyo, and Yang Se-chan.

PULP also announced the ticket prices, seat plan and fan benefits in a separate post.

“We know you’ve been waiting for us for such a long time, and we would sincerely like to thank everyone! We heard your tickets are starting to fade since a lot of time has passed but a lot of you are waiting together until the day that we can all meet. For that, we wholeheartedly thank everyone once again,” Yoo Jae-suk shared in the previous video greeting.

During the event, the members were very much overwhelmed by the love that their Filipino fans showed to them, promising them that they would continue making them laugh and return to the country.

“I love the time that we spent together,” member Yang Se-chan said.

Jong Kook added, “I just wanna say thank you for your love and support. We’re gonna keep running, and we will do our best.”

Jae Suk continued, “We are very much overwhelmed... I believe that because of your love and support that we are here. And of course, as long as you are there, we will keep running.”

“We will be back,” he promised.

Running Man is now South Korea’s longest-running variety show with over 700 episodes as of this writing. Some of its former members were actors Song Joong Ki (Descendants of The Sun, Vincenzo), Lee Kwang Soo (Busted!, Sinkhole), musician Gary, Lizzy of After School and actress Jeon So Min (The Name, Hae-soo), who just departed the show last October 2023 due to health reasons.
