Vice Ganda is set to headline a new program on Prime Video.

The streaming platform recently announced that the Kapamilya star will be hosting the Philippine version of the hit comedy show Last One Laughing.

"Sige nga, tawa pa! 🤨 Who will be the #LastOneLaughing? #LOLPH, hosted by #ViceGanda, premieres July 4, only on Prime Video," Prime announced on social media.

Fans online were quick to express their excitement about Vice's new show.

"OMG!!! exciting kung sinong mga included sa cast," one fan commented.

"Loyal n loyal po Ako... Idol ko po kau meme," another fan wrote.

According to its IMDB, the Last One Laughing is "an unscripted comedy reality show, where 10 comedians are put in a house and must make each other laugh while resisting the urge to laugh themselves. The last one laughing wins."

The show has successful runs in various countries including Italy and France.

Aside from the Last One Laughing, Vice is set to star in an upcoming film titled And the Breadwinner is..."

The movie will be directed by award-winning filmmaker Jun Robles Lana.

"Ang daming pelikulang ginawa ng Star Cinema na naging paboritong bahagi ng mga buhay n’yo. Tsaka si Direk Jun Lana din, ang gaganda ng mga ginagawa n’yang pelikula. Nakaka-flatter, nakaka-proud," Vice remarked as she expressed her excitement about the movie at a press conference.

Vice admitted that doing drama was something that she was hesitant to do initially.

"Dati kasi ayoko talaga ng maraming drama kasi feeling ko hindi ko ‘yun strength. Pero the team has been convincing me, ‘No, it’s your strength," she relayed.

Meanwhile, Direk Jun shared what fans can expect from the movie.

"It’s everything na hinihintay ng mga tao sa isang pelikula ni Vice. ‘Yung nakakatawa, ‘yung riot na comedy, and so much more. Kung nakita natin si Vice na magpatawa, makikita rin natin s’ya ngayon na mangurot ng mga puso natin," he hinted.

Aside from a new TV show and a new film, Vice also ventured into the music scene again with the release of her new single "Bwak Bwak Bwak."
