Kapuso actress Joyce Ching happily shared that she is in her fourth month of pregnancy with her and husband Kevin Alimon's first child.

“The start of the year, God placed a desire in our hearts to really start praying and believing Him for a baby. Was it scary? Yes. We thought about it hard and decided, “G, si Lord naman bahala sa atin”. And now, we’re 4 months pregnant. 🥹🫶🏼,” Joyce wrote on her post.

The couple shared a selfie of themselves holding a sonogram of their little angel.

Several celebrity friends, including Mikael Daez, Mark Herras, Trina Legaspi, Pamu Pamorada, Rodjun Cruz, Ina Feleo, and Joyce’s former Tween Hearts castmate and close friend Lexi Cordingley, as well as the couple’s godparents Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes were among who expressed their congratulatory greetings in the comment section.

“Congratulations, Bebs! @chingjoyce 🥹👏🏻❤️,” Joyce’s another former Tween Hearts castmate Barbie Forteza expressed.

Former Miss World and actress Megan Young also said, “So happy for you Joyce! 🥹🥹🥹.”

Joyce and Kevin also shared the actress’s pregnancy confirmation journey last March in a vlog.

“It’s the time of the month na kami po ay trying hard na naman… Fifth day na akong delayed pero irregular kasi talaga ako at talagang normal sa 'kin na delayed ako,” Joyce said in the first part of the video.

Kevin then prayed for the test to be positive, saying “Lord, we pray na we're pregnant and it's twins.”

The couple also revealed their babies' temporary names as they waited for the result of their first test.

“Say hi to Isabel and Seth… We love you guys, and we want to see you na,” the excited father-to-be said.

With her first pregnancy test, Joyce got a positive result, however, the other line was a bit blurred. She then tried another test the following day, and got another positive result which made them decide to consult an OB-GYN.

At their first consultation, they were advised that it was too early for them to know if the result was correct despite the high chances. The couple then waited for more than three weeks to conduct another test.

On March 26, the couple finally confirmed Joyce’s pregnancy.

“The baby is here!” Joyce said as Kevin showed a sonogram photo of their unborn child.

“We are seven weeks and three days pregnant,” she added. “Kanina, hindi ko na mapigil iyong iyak ko. Sabi ko, ‘Pwede po ba umiyak?’ kasi nakakahiya kapag bigla na lang ako lumuha.”

“It was the longest one month we had to go through. We didn’t want to assume or celebrate anything right away, but after days and weeks of waiting, we were finally sure we were having a baby. And now we’re four months pregnant,” the actress said in a voice-over as clips from the days of their waiting were shown.

They also asked their viewers to include their family in their prayers now that they are heading into a new chapter of their married life.

Joyce and Kevin tied the knot in a Christian ceremony in December 2019, nine months after they announced their engagement.

In a previous birthday post in June 2023, Joyce penned a message of appreciation for her husband.

“Hello bb! I just want to let you and everyone who’s going to see this post know that I’m super blessed and proud that I get to call you my husband. Thank you for your love and leadership. Thank you for always putting God first, making sure that you love and honor me the way God values me. I always get reminded of how good God is because of you. Happy birthday! 🫶🏼,” she said.
