LOOK: AC Bonifacio dances ‘Pantropiko’ with K-Pop group RIIZE

On July 18, Filipino dancer and actress AC Bonifacio uploaded a video on her Instagram showing her dancing to BINI’s hit song “Pantropiko” alongside four members of RIIZE: Wonbin, Sungchan, Eunseok, and Shotaro. The caption on her post read, “vibing with @riize_official 🤘🏼.”

The video has around 19k likes on Instagram, and over 66k likes on TikTok as of this writing. 

RIIZE also shared a video on their official Instagram and Tiktok accounts, featuring AC Bonifacio dancing to their latest release, “Boom Boom Bass.” Their post was captioned, “Groovin’ with @acbonifacio,” accompanied by hashtags promoting their recent fan concert.

Their video has around 410k likes on Instagram and 370k likes on Tiktok with over 1.3M views as of this writing.

K-Pop group RIIZE recently held their RIIZING Day Fan Concert in Manila on July 14. The concert presented by Filipino fashion brand Bench, marked RIIZE’s first visit to the Philippines since their debut last September 2023. 

The group's energy and connection with the crowd were palpable, with members expressing their amazement at the audience's enthusiasm.

Eunseok shared, “Your energy is really strong, which makes me very happy as well. Let’s keep this vibe and energy up until the end.” Shotaro pointed out the fans’ energy during soundcheck: “Earlier during the soundcheck, your energy was already explosive, and even now [during the main show], your energy is still explosive.”

Sungchan shared his excitement about the visit, stating, “Manila’s energy is truly remarkable. Actually, it’s our [group’s] first time to come to the Philippines and I'm very happy to meet all of you.” Sohee echoed this sentiment, stating, “It was actually my first time meeting Manila BRIIZE. It’s beyond my expectations — the energy, the happiness.”

Wonbin’s performance was so intense that he lost his voice. “Just imagine how much I enjoyed that my voice is already gone. Today’s energy was really amazing so I was really surprised,” he said. “I really, really want to come back and have a concert again here in Manila.”

After the concert, RIIZE’s member Anton took to Weverse to share his experience in Manila, and also share a playlist he curated featuring OPM artists. 

“Thanks to you guys, we’re leaving with so many great memories, and we’ll be sure to come back to see you guys again someday!!” Anton shared. He added, “So much love for you guys and thank you always!! Habang buhay kitang mamahalin.”

He then shared some of the music he found and enjoyed, along with a song that his dad recommended. 

Artists that Anton featured included Sunkissed Lola X Jungee Marcelo, CESCA, Nameless Kids, December Avenue, Ben&Ben, Lola Amour, juan karlos, and Jason Dhakal.

In addition to AC, RIIZE also collaborated with another Filipino content creator, Andrea So. Andrea shared videos on TikTok and Instagram, dancing to RIIZE’s song “Boom Boom Bass” with members Anton and Sohee. The caption read: “surpRIIZE !!! with anton and sohee 🤍”
