Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings teased fans about what they can expect from their upcoming movie.

"Excited kami sa gagawin together. Basta! As in it is something pasabog talaga. Abangan niyo po," Maris remarked in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

The actress relayed that they have been undergoing workshops in preparation for their roles in the film.

"Grabe din preparations namin. Workshops kami…Excited kami doon. I can say minahal kami ng mga tao bilang SnoRene, feel ko mamahalin pa kami ng mga tao sa bagong characters namin kasi nakakatawa," she relayed.

Anthony highlighted that their roles in their new project are far different from the previous characters they portrayed.

"Iba naman to. Ibang tao, ibang characters. Excited. Dedicated na kami," Anthony pointed out.

Maris added: "It is something exciting. Different talaga. Different from SnoRene."

Reflecting on the blessings that came their way since their love team dubbed as "MaThon" was formed in Can't Buy Me Love, Maris remarked that she is very grateful for the opportunities.

"Thankful kami. Parehas tayo nagugulat sa mga dumadating. Kahit ako di makapaniwala sa blessings.  More than pressured, excited. Focused on [the] project and focused sa trabaho. Magawa mo ng maayos at masaya. If ganon energy mo mag-reflect naman iyon," Maris said.

It was in March when Maris and Anthony first teased about their new project when they posted their photo with director JP Laxamana on social media.

"After 8 years! Makakatrabaho a kita ulet," the director commented on Maris' Instagram post that time.

Meanwhile, back in June, Anthony shared that they had been undergoing workshops for their new project.

"Nakaidlip lang konti, gising na ulit😎 kamusta kayo? ensayo lang muna kami 👀🤫," he posted.

During the finale press conference of Can't Buy Me Love back in April, Maris and Anthony had nothing but good words for each other on working together for the first time.

Maris remarked: "Sobrang sarap katrabaho [ni Anthony]. Sobrang sarap ka-eksena and finally nakahanap din ako ng ka-eksena na sobrang well-connected and alam namin kung saan namin gusto dalhin yung eksena. We are just having fun kung saan namin dadalhin yung eksena."

Anthony was equally grateful for being paired with Maris whom he described as very professional.

"Nagpapasalamat din ako of course kay Maris kasi si Maris ano siya eh professional siya sa trabaho niya and ganoon din naman ako of course and nandoon naman yung paggalang namin sa isa’t isa and sa personal lives," he added.

Maris shared that her love team with Anthony in Can't Buy Me Love was actually unplanned.

"Actually until now hindi ako makapaniwala kasi it was all unplanned. Nagkaroon lang kami ng eksena na nakaapak ako ng poop and natuwa naman ako kasi hindi naman laging may makakatambal ka na magwo-work and 'yung humor niyo and very happy ako sa support ng mga tao," Maris said in a past interview with ABS-CBN News.

Amid the breakthrough success of her onscreen pairing with Anthony, Maris highlighted that she is not pressured to be part of a love team.

"I don't feel any pressure naman, hindi ako nape-pressure, na ha-happy ako every time may scenes kami ni Anthony. Parang very challenging in a good way, na gandahan natin kaysa sa last. So looking forward ako palagi," she stated.
