Celine Dion will be performing at this year's Olympics in Paris. The performance will mark the comeback of the singer on stage after her Stiff Person Syndrome diagnosis.

According to Variety, the singer will reportedly be part of the Olympics' opening ceremonies.

The magazine further reported that Celine arrived in Paris on Monday, July 22 and checked into the Royal Monceau hotel.

In an interview with Vogue France in April, Celine got candid about her health condition saying that she has to live with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

"I haven’t beat the disease, as it’s still within me and always will be. I hope that we’ll find a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it. So that’s me, now with Stiff Person Syndrome," she confessed.

Amid her health challenge, Celine remarked that she chooses to undergo therapy, with the hopes that she will be able to work again.

"Five days a week I undergo athletic, physical and vocal therapy. I work on my toes, my knees, my calves, my fingers, my singing, my voice… I have to learn to live with it now and stop questioning myself. At the beginning I would ask myself: why me? How did this happen? What have I done? Is this my fault?" she said.

The singer went on: "I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!"

Last June 25, the singer's documentary titled I Am: Celine Dion, which chronicled her battle with SPS, was released on Prime Video.

According to its synopsis, the documentary "gives us a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness. Serving as a love letter to her fans, this inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided her life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit."

Celine was diagnosed with SPS in December 2022.
