<p>&quot;Sobrang nakaka-happy tapos it&#x27;s fulfilling.&quot;</p><p>These were the words of Cherry Pie Picache as she was asked for her reaction to the massive reception that her character in the primetime series <em>FPJ&#x27;s Batang Quiapo </em>has received from the viewers.</p><p>&quot;The whole team works very hard di ba to give and to entertain, and to let the viewers enjoy<em> Batang Quiapo </em>so ang affirmation namin dun is to know na ang dami-daming nanood,&quot; the actress remarked. &quot;It&#x27;s so fulfilling and I&#x27;m sure di ba, lahat nung pagod, &#x27;yung pagsisikap namin, parang it&#x27;s all worth it kasi nai-enjoy ng viewers.&quot;</p><p><em></em>In <em>Batang Quiapo</em>, Cherry Pie plays the role of Marites, the wife of Rigor (John Estrada). Nagtutulong-tulong kami, directors, kami-kami, like kami ni [Mercedes] nag-uusap kami... Nagtutulungan kaming lahat. It&#x27;s nice to know that&#x27;s effective tapos nakaka-relate &#x27;yung audience,&quot; she stated.</p><p>The actress also pointed out that the stories of their character are based on reality, hence a lot of viewers can relate.</p><p>&quot;Ang maganda rin kasi sa characters namin true to life eh. You know it&#x27;s full of reality. &#x27;Yung real talk kumbaga. Ito, you come face to face with what&#x27;s really happening and ang effect nakaka-relate &#x27;yung mga tao,&quot; she stated.</p><p>When asked why she thinks her character in the series seems to be a martyr, she explained: &quot;Siguro may mga pinaghahandaan pa pero di ba si Marites kasi, yung character niya, bilang tao lahat gagawin niya.&quot;</p><p>She went on: &quot;Mahal na mahal niya pamilya niya. Lahat gagawin niya, lahat titiisin niya kahit siya na ang magmukhang tanga, magmukhang kawawa. The way she will react, the way she feels, the way she talks. Tapos kung kailan siya uurong, kailan siya lalaban, parang kapang-kapa ko na,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>When asked what fans can expect from her character, she said, &quot;&#x27;Yan ang abangan niyo. Siyempre di ba we know that si direk CM, si Coco (Martin), hinahanda niya &#x27;yan pero nababago rin along the way depende kung ano ang gusto ang audience.&quot;</p><p>The actress added: &quot;Tapos kapag may naiisip siya, ito mas maganda &#x27;to, napaka-passionate na storyteller niya eh so it changes along the way although merong arc, so lahat tayo masu-surprise kung ano ang aabangan.&quot;</p><p><em>FPJ&#x27;s Batang Quiapo</em> first aired on February 13, 2023.
