<p>Celebrity mom Andi Eigenmann couldn’t help but reminisce about her late mother, seasoned actress Jaclyn Jose, as she prepared for her second daughter Lilo’s 5th birthday on Tuesday, July 23.</p><p>On her social media page, Andi shared how she recalled her mother who organized her birthday when she was younger.</p><p>“Preparing Lilo&#x27;s birthday reminded me of Nanay, as it dawned on me that every birthday party I had growing up, was literally DIYed by her. Back then I didn&#x27;t think anything of it…  But now, looking back, I realize how lucky I was to have a nanay as punong abala as she was, who, in her own way, always made sure I had a birthday to remember.”</p><p>Andi then expressed how her “Nanay’s DIY birthday” for her made her realize how important and memorable it was than the fancy and grandiose celebrations.</p><p>“Each birthday I spent with my friends, laughing our butts off, pulling all-nighters fueled by our sugar highs, was a core memory for sure. And this is all thanks to her. I will always have a vivid picture of her mischievous smile as she takes a peep in my room to check up on us. The look of &#x27;ayayay! But go ahead and ransack the house anyways.&#x27; 😆,” she remarked.</p><p>The mom of three then said how Jaclyn’s special celebration was passed on to her to do for her growing kids.</p><p>“Now, I lovingly take pride in following in her footsteps as I do the same for my kids. All she said was: marshmallow topped hotdogs, nanay&#x27;s spaghetti, her favorite cake, and some activities with friends. For her present, she specifically asked for a crop top and a skirt that goes until her ankles,” she wrote.</p><p>Although it was hard for her to look for the specific birthday outfit her daughter wanted, Andi put her sewing skills to the test to make it work.</p><p>“luckily my sisters and I were able to spot this one in Manila! Not her size so I had to sew it to fit.lol she was soo happy!
