<p>Sylvia Sanchez and her family traveled to Paris to show support for the Filipino athletes at this year&#x27;s Olympics.</p><p>On her Instagram page, Sylvia shared a clip and a photo of her family attending the Olympic opening ceremony at the River Seine on July 26.</p><p>&quot;Proud to be a part of this historic moment. Paris Olympics 2024 💪💪💪 Laban Pilipinas!&quot; the actress posted on Instagram.</p><p>Fans online were quick to react to her post.</p><p>&quot;Laban Pilipinas 🇵🇭... Meanwhile, Marie-José Pérec and Teddy Riner ignited the cauldron, which was lifted into the air by a modern hot air balloon.</p><p>The opening ceremony also showcased an opening performance from Lady Gaga who sang &quot;Mon Truc en Plumes&quot; by Zizi Jeanmaire.</p><p>Meanwhile, Celine Dion marked her return to the stage following her Stiff Person Syndrome diagnosis in December 2022, as she sang on the Eiffel Tower for the closing performance of the ceremony. The singer sang Edith Piaf’s &quot;Hymne A L’Amour.&quot;</p><p>Following the opening ceremony, Sylvia attended the qualifying round for the Men&#x27;s Artistic Gymnastics to show support for Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo.</p><p>&quot;Sobrang nakakaproud ka [Carlos].
