Mobile Legends Professional League icon OhMyV33nus, whose real name is Johnmar Vilalluna, bid farewell to esports organization Blacklist International after her four-year journey with the team.

In a post, V33 shared her thoughts on why she decided to part ways with her esports organization.

“Naalala ko lang few years ago noong may malaking transition kami ni Wise, napaisip din ako ng ganito. Mas may anxiety ako noon, napa post pa nga ko ng “Who is OHMYV33NUS without Onic?” Ngayon naman same time, 2am din, same thoughts: Who is OHMYV33NUS without Blacklist?” she shared.

“Marami na rin kasing narating with Blacklist eh… sobrang dami nang bonggang eksena na hindi ko naimagine noon na possible pala mangyari sa buhay ko.

"Sino nga ba si OHMYV33NUS na wala yung trophies and yung esports org na alam ng lahat? Tinatanong ko yan paulit-ulit sa sarili ko at iisa lang yung chikka. I’m at this point in life right now na I know already there’s something more than this, a higher version of me deep within me. More than I’ve ever accomplished,” she continued.

V33 then shared that she felt that it was time for her to go and open a new chapter.

“So I left Tier One Entertainment and Blacklist International because I know I would settle if I choose to stay. When it’s time to go, ma feel mo naman eh,” she wrote.

She also added how she sees the meaning of home in a different and meaningful view.

“Each team and esports org I’ve worked with before, I’ve always considered them as my home. But I realized Home is where I go. Home is anyone who cares about me. Home is the name I’ve built for myself: OHMYV33NUS,” she penned.

She ended her message saying, “I’ve always got me, and I will never be afraid no matter where life would take me.”

On their part, Blacklist wrote an open letter to V33 on their Facebook page.

“To Ohmyv33nus,

"Seeing your post this morning made us realize a lot of things and got us to a similar question…

"What is Blacklist International without OhMyV33nus?” they said, recalling the journey the iconic esports player and the organization have been on.

“On top of all the achievements, what made everything special was how we completed our mission… Together. Our journey with you wasn’t purely about wins, it came with losses as well… In spite of all these losses, nothing hurts more than the departure of a generational talent like you,” they added.

Blacklist then ended their message wishing V33 a wonderful journey ahead.

“As we all say internally in the company, 'In Tier One, we never settle' and we expect nothing less from a Queen. We can’t wait to see you grow into that higher version you want for yourself outside of our squad and chase your dreams with the home you’ve built for yourself.

"Home may be wherever you go, but Blacklist will always have its doors open for you,” they said.

V33’s departure from the esports organization has garnered support and reaction from fans and followers.

“Proud of what you have achieved momsh! You proved that esports is for everyone, it knows no gender nor age. Your decision might be painful, but it's one that we will accept because you deserve that peace of mind. Love you ♡,” a fan commented.

Another fan expressed, “You've changed the esports scene. Always be proud and be a fan. 🫶💖.”

Besides V33, other players also announced their departure from the organization, such as Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo and Agent Zero—whose real name is Edward Dapadap and the longest staying member of Blacklist International.

The other half of the V33wise duo and V33's partner, Danerie "Wise" Rosario, also had a witty departure announcement with an "informal resignation letter" and a photo.

"Dear Sir/Madam, Bounce na ako mga ssob @Blacklist International, matsala sa all. Respectfully yours, Wise," Wise said in the letter.

OhMyV33nus and Wise first became part of Blacklist International in 2020, where they became the first and only team to win three MPL Philippines titles, with the tandem appearing in all championship bids.
