Anji Salvacion plans to take a pre-med course in college

Anji Salvacion shared that she is set to star in a new acting project this year.

In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez in the TFC show BRGY, the actress-singer revealed: "I have a new acting project and I am so excited 'cause right now I'm gonna work myself up because I'm gonna prove to myself that I can do better than what I did yesterday."

Anji previously starred in the hit series Linlang. It can be recalled that Anji became a subject of criticisms during her stint in the show. 

Reflecting on the said experience, Anji stated: "Dun ko rin natutunan na you're never gonna win in the internet kasi kahit wala kang ginagawa, they always have a way to say something about you."

Aside from acting, Anji had been busy with music. Last February, Anji released her latest EP Grit.

"I enjoyed doing the EP because it was out of my comfort zone and that was the very first time that I stepped out of what I usually do so dun ko nalaman na ay kaya ko pala gawin ito," she relayed.  

The EP contains six tracks including "Happy," "Just Stay," "You Didn't," "Masterpiece," "Don't Lie 2 Me," and "Paraiso-Remix."

When asked to describe her journey in the entertainment industry so far, Anji stated: "It is overwhelming. Up until now I still get overwhelmed and it's such a rollercoaster ride. Ang daming ups, ang daming downs, and you know we can never go in between."

Amid being in showbiz, Anji shared that she is set to return to school. "Next year. I will be back."

On what college course she plans to take up, she replied: "'Yung pre-med ko will be nursing because I really want to be a pediatrician."

Anji was declared as the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 in 2022.

Last May 2023, Anji marked the first anniversary since she won PBB by penning a post on social media.

"After a year of being a PBB Kumunity S10 winner, I have come to realize that this journey has been possible only because of the grace of God and the unconditional love and support of my family and my sunshines (her fan group). I'm so grateful for all the good and bad that has happened in my life, for it has made me the person I am today," she remarked.
