Ara Mina revealed that she is planning to have another child next year.

The actress-singer made the revelation in online show PUSH Bets when asked if having another baby was in her plans.

"Next year, parang pa-move ng pa-move. So iyon 'yung parang pinaka-suitable, next year," she shared.

Ara is married to Dave Almarinez to whom she tied the knot with back in July 2021.

The actress hopes to have a baby boy in the future as she already has a daughter named Mandy, her child from former partner Patrick Meneses.

In the same interview, Ara was asked if she would allow her daughter to enter show business. 

“For now ayaw niya, tingnan natin 'pag nagdalaga na," she said.

Ara is celebrating her 31st anniversary in show business this year. On what projects she wants to do next in the industry, she said: "So far I'm happy naman sa naging takbo ng career ko and status ng career ko. Siguro meron lang akong ilang projects na I want to do before ako mag-buntis. I want to do another film na pang-award winning because I miss doing a film na pang-award."

She also hopes to do a romantic-comedy movie. "I want to do a rom-com because I never did a rom-com dahil nga ang aga kong nagpa-sexy, so hindi mga rom-com 'yung napupunta sa akin. 

“I have this very good concept na I hope magawa ko, let's see,” she added.

Ara also hopes to venture into music again. "Gusto ko ulit makagawa ng isang kanta na tatatak ulit sa tao para may pandagdag sa 'Ay, Ay, Ay, Pag-Ibig' and 'Oops... Teka Lang.'"

Ara is set to stage a concert on July 11 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater to celebrate her 30th anniversary in show business.

"[I'm] very excited kasi last year pa 'to pina-plano but this year siya natuloy because in fact 31 years na ako in the industry but I'm celebrating my 30 years,” she explained. "I want to celebrate my 30 years with a concert, sharing my passion sa singing because that's my first love talaga."
