Comedian Lassy’s house submerged in flood up to second floor due to typhoon Carina

<p>&quot;Sobrang lala na nakaka-trauma talaga.&quot;</p><p>These were the words of <em>It&#x27;s Showtime </em>host Lassy as he described his experience during Super Typhoon Carina which submerged his house in flood water.</p><p>In the recent vlog of thebBeks Batallion, Lassy showed the condition of his house following the typhoon.</p><p>&quot;[Umabot ‘yung baha] sa second floor, kalahati ng second floor... Ang hirap kasi para kang nagsisimula na naman. ‘Yung lahat back to [zero],&quot; he said.</p><p>The appliances and other household items on the first floor were all submerged in flood water. So naglabasan na nga sila sabi ko, &#x27;&#x27;Yung mga papeles lahat ng importante [dalhin],&quot; he recalled.</p><p>Lassy got stuck in their house until the afternoon. &quot;Umabot ako ng hapon pa kasi walang rescue eh.&quot;</p><p>This was the second time that Lassy experienced major flooding in the same house, but he described this time around as a more devastating ordeal.</p><p>“Nung una ‘yung 2012 hindi naman umabot ng second floor. Ito ‘yung malala. Sobrang lala na nakaka-trauma talaga,&quot; he said.</p><p>He went on: &quot;Nakakapagod pero kaya naman. Bitbit [ng family ko] &#x27;yung urn ng ng tatay ko pero pagdating nila sa kalagitnaan tumaob sila mama. Buti na lang may lubid sa gilid, may bubong pa na pwedeng kapitan,&quot; he said.</p><p>The next day when the water started to subside, Lassy alongside his cousin looked for the urn and fortunately they were able to retrieve it.</p><p>&quot;Kinakapa ko, paa lang para maramdaman ko. Maya-maya &#x27;yung pinsan ko naganun niya, &#x27;Kuya parang ito yata, parang ito.&#x27; Lumubog siya kinuha niya. Pagkita namin &#x27;yung urn nga. B<strong></strong>uti hindi pinasok kasi naka-sealed siya,&quot; he relayed.</p><p>Fans online expressed support for Lassy after the vlog was posted.</p><p>&quot;Stay strong Lassy! Ang mahalaga ligtas kayo. Ang mga materyal na bagay napapalitan, pero ang buhay minsan lang,&quot; one fan commented.</p><p>&quot;Lassy, I admire you being so strong.
