“Dahil po sa aking marubdob na pangarap na maiahon ko ang aking pamilya sa kahirapan ay pinilit ko pong kalimutan ang pangyayaring ito sa aking puso at isipan. Hindi po alam ng aking pamilya pero apat na beses po akong nag-isip na tapusin na ang buhay ko,” Gerald shared.

He recalled how embarrassed and disgusted he felt after he was raped which made him have thoughts of ending his life. He believed that no one would listen to his story and he couldn’t do anything about his rapist as he had no power over him.
