News anchor Niña Corpuz had nothing but good words for Kapamilya sportscaster Migs Bustos as they work together as co-hosts on a new public service radio program, Nagseserbisyo, Niña Corpuz.

In a media conference last Tuesday, August 27, Nina shared how she and Migs created good chemistry hosting their new show.

“Migs is so much fun. He also has the heart of a journalist,” she shared. “Pareho rin yung parang path that we’re taking so we relate to each other. We do reporting, we do tell stories, we are very passionate in the same things.”

The news anchor also added, “Minsan kapag nagaask ako ng question sa aming resource person, for example, sabay kami ng tinatanong. We connected right away.”

Nina also expressed how easy and comfortable she is working with Migs despite their age difference.

“He’s such an easy guy to be with,” she remarked. “We can easily connect to each other, support each other even if I’m older than him.”

“It’s a good partnership,” she added.

Migs was supposed to attend the media conference for their show, however, his wife gave birth to their second child on the same day.

"My partner, I'm sorry he didn't (arrive), it was really timing. His wife Mischi gave birth," Niña announced during the press conference.

“Congratulations partner, Migs!” she added. “Welcome baby, AJ! Partner Migs and Mischi now have a boy and he was born this [afternoon]t 1:35 AM.”

“Welcome to the world! Congratulations, Mischi and Migs!” she extended.

Niña and Migs's radio program is a new show on DWPM 630 Teleradyo Serbisyo that talks about different services agencies, organizations, and individuals that can offer public service.

“Ang Nagseserbisyo Niña Corpuz ay para po sa lahat ng mamamayang Pilipino. Hindi lang po sa Pilipinas pati sa buong mundo,” Niña described.

The show had its pilot episode last July 1 on free-to-air, cable, and YouTube.

“Done and dusted 🧹

Good job, team ‘Nagseserbisyo, Niña Corpuz’ sa pilot ep!

Sakto ang pasok ng second half of the year as we discussed all about health Thank you DOH Sec. Ted Herbosa sa pagbisita and @aikabuenavistamd for discussing proper stress management.

Bukas ulit!” Migs captioned in a post.

Nagseserbisyo, Nina Corpuz is also Nina's comeback to doing radio shows after a two-year long break.

“Sa mind ko, umoo po ako agad kasi syempre dito po ako lumaki, dito na po ako natuto sa mga bagay na ginagawa ko ngayon,” Niña shared. “I have their blessings and it even made me more excited to do this show kasi I know that I now have not just one but two public service programs.”

“Very excited ako dahil halos dalawang taon din po ako nawala sa radyo at talagang namiss ko siya, feeling ko hindi ako buo. But I had to learn with it, and then I had a show. Pero iba pa rin yung nakabalik ako sa una kong tahanan at yung makabalik ako sa dati kong tahanan where I feel at home. Ang kaibahan ngayon hindi lang siya health show,” she added.
